At summer the temperature is: 49° C (120° F)
Midwinter temperatures: -9° C (15° F)
The temperature during the day may range from freezing conditions at dawn to the upper 30°s C (upper 90°s F) at noon. The weather varies in Afghanistan to hot weather to freezing winds.

Monsoons in Afghanistan
Many people have died because of the monsoons; they have drowned and died from lack of drinking water. The flood water has caused all the nearby streams and rivers’ waters to be unclean and undrinkable. Many of the citizens and their homes have been swept away by the powerful flood, and most of the citizens are in poverty and are currently homeless. Many of the people are injured from the disastrous flood. The most recent monsoon was in July 3,2010
Seasons In Afghanistan
At times the weather in the seasons change. Instead of rainstorms they have sandstorms.. Strong winds blow sand into clouds that swirl around Afghanistan. Many people nearby have irritated eyes because of the sand going inside of their eyes. They celebrate Now Ruz it marks the first day of spring.
